When I drive at a lower speed, I rarely hear wind noise, but when I start driving fast, around 50 mph, I hear little noise, but the noise becomes much louder if the speed is around 70mph.

If the weather is bad and a high amount of air passes through door seals, it will make noise because door seals prevent moisture and keep air out.

Fixing Door Gap Wind Noise  

Fixing the door wind noise will not cost you more, but it isn’t fully eliminated. Here are some instructions to follow:.  

• You must clean the surface of the car where weather stripping is installed. Use clean and soapy water.  
• You must install the strip in a single motion, starting from the front of the vehicle, passing over the front door, and continuing to the rear door.  
• You can install more weather stripping down the side where the rear door meets the vehicle.  

Fixing Roof Rack Wind Noise  

You just need to buy a wind reflector to reduce the noise.  

Is Wind Noise bad?  

Telling you about myself, I am not actually bothered by wind noise, even at the highway, but some people keep complaining, so let’s check out some surveys conducted by hundreds of Toyota RAV4 owners.
